Thank you to all of those individuals who expressed an interest in serving on the St. Croix Chamber of Commerce 2012 Board of Directors. After careful consideration, the Board of Directors has voted to approve the following six candidates as recommended by the Nominating Committee for three-year terms on the Board of Directors beginning in January.

• Mr. Brian Blaschka, managing partner of IBP, LLC, a manufacturers‘ representative firm dealing with the resort, golf and high-end residential construction industry.
• Ms. Juliette Bynum, founder and owner of Select Temp Staffing in Golden Rock.
• Mr. Rafael A. Ramirez Casablanca, Director of Human Resources for Diageo USVI.
• Ms. Margi Levy, owner of Travel Desk of St. Croix.
• Ms. Matthew Leonard, regional manager for V.I. Cargo and CaribTrans shipping on St. Croix.
• Ms. Lorine Williams, a Realtor affiliated with Coldwell Banker, Land-de Wilde Realty.

 
All six will be officially introduced at the 2012 Annual Membership Meeting and Breakfast In January. A specific date for the meeting has not been scheduled pending confirmation of guest speaker Governor John deJongh. We will notify the Chamber membership once a date and location are confirmed.
 
The 2012 Board of Directors also will include the following current board members:

Mr. Stuart Logan (Pinnacle Services), Ms. Kimberly McCollum (Quality Electric Supply), Mr. James M. Oliver (Innovative Consultant), Ms. Lisa Stines (Flex VI and Blue Sky Realty), Mr. Edgardo Torres (Glass 2000, Inc.)
 
The Chamber would like to thank Board Members Kevin Brandt, Todd Donohoo, Omer ErSelcuk and President Scot McChain who will be retiring from the Board of Directors at the end of December.
