Please find attached the REAP application templates and the FACT Sheets to share about the program.

There are two primary parts to the 9007 REAP program.  An applicant can have a renewable energy project such as wind or solar.  Or an applicant can have an energy efficiency project such as replacing insulation or air conditioning.  Both types use the same application template.  If a total project has a cost of over $200 thousand then the applicant must use the over $200 application template attached.  If the total project cost is under $200K then the applicant can use the simplified application attached.

We do have an energy coordinator in our state office who can assist with the application process:

As stated prior, we also have an Energy Programs Coordinator that can assist you with application completion and/or provide training to you. Her information is as follows:

PRICE FREEZE AND RESTRICTED SALE ORDER IN EFFECT THROUGHOUT THE TERRITORY

Wayne L. Biggs, Jr., Commissioner of the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) is notifying all consumers, merchants, and businesses that there is currently a price freeze and restricted sale order in effect for the territory of the Virgin Islands. The price freeze is effective as a result of the territory presently being under a tropical storm watch. DLCA has determined that there is the likelihood of considerable damage to residential, commercial, industrial, and governmental facilities as a result of intense weather conditions expected from Tropical Storm Maria.

DLCA reminds all merchants and businesses that part of its mission is to assist and protect consumers. “As we remain in the heart of the hurricane season, businesses are advised to comply with orders issued by the Department to avoid being assessed penalties for acts of price gouging and other unfair business practices," said Commissioner Biggs.
